That report says Gill's staff confirmed his launching of an "under-the-radar political giving campaign." It also names another major contributor -- philanthropist and Michigan billionaire Jon Stryker -- who was "inspired" by Gill's efforts. Their goals, says NPR, was "to elect gay-friendly governors and state lawmakers."
LaBarbera, who is now director of the group Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, wonders why the media appears to be treating this admitted outside influence in local and state elections differently than they have in the past.
"When the Christian evangelicals did it -- Ralph Reed and the Christian Coalition years ago -- the media was up in arms about 'Christian right stealth tactics,'" says LaBarbera; "but when the homosexual activists do it, somehow it's okay or they become good citizens when they use stealth tactics to unseat good pro-family, Christian lawmakers."
LaBarbera contends that if Christian activists were employing the same strategy today, members of the mainstream media would be wringing their hands in frustration. "Tim Gill is one of the gay donors who came up with the idea of targeting these state races," explains the family advocate. "So we need to expose where Tim Gill was involved, and then we need to let people know ... we need to get these facts out among grassroots Americans ...."
According to LaBarbera, Americans do not like outside forces, especially homosexual activists, influencing local elections. "I don't think a farmer in Iowa is going to be too pleased to know that his pro-family representative was unseated by a homosexual stealth money strategy," he states.
Homosexuals tend have a great deal of disposable time and money for political activity, says LaBarbera, because they do not have children and their partners often provide them with a second income.
Because the left embraces the homosexual agenda and is terrified of Christianity.

Part of the homosexual agenda is getting people to stop considering that conversion is even a viable question to be asked, let alone whether or not it works.
In my experience, coming out from under the influence of the homosexual mindset was the most liberating, beautiful and astonishing thing Ive ever experienced in my entire life .
I believe that all people, intrinsically, know the truth. I believe that is why Christianity scares people so much. It reminds them of their conscience, which we all possess .
As a leader in the gay rights movement, I was given the opportunity to address the public many times. If I could take back some of the things I said, I would. Now I know that homosexuality is lust and pornography wrapped into one. Ill never let anybody try to convince me otherwise, no matter how slick their tongues or how sad their story. I have seen it. I know the truth.
Double standard here.
Oh, and how are these people “oppressed”?
How is it that they don’t have their civil rights?
Homosexuals tend to have money to spare, because your typical household is two professionals with good salaries and no expenses for children.
On the other hand, they are probably only about 3 or 4% of the population. But they have developed a working political partnership with pro-abortionists, feminists, blacks, and others on the left, which gives them a good deal of leverage.
Correction needed;
Queers tend to have money to spare, because your typical household is two professionals with good salaries and no expenses for children.
I pray the Lord will take away their money.
Tell me about it!
They have to ride in the back of the Limo.
