DES MOINES — Joseph Biden, the Delaware Democrat running for president, is a man of strong opinions. During a campaign event in a Des Moines backyard today, Mr. Biden had some choice words for President Bush and two of the Republicans running for the White House.
“This guy is brain dead,” Mr. Biden said to surprised applause and laughter from the crowd. “I know I’ll be quoted, I’ll be killed for that.”
“This is a guy who is on the balls of his heels, here’s a guy who is lower off in the polls than any president in modern history and he goes ahead and he does something that just flies in the face of the sensibilities of the American people.”
A few minutes later, Mr. Biden turned his sights on Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former mayor of New York, and a Republican running for president. “I can hardly wait to debate Rudy Giuliani if he is their nominee,” he said. “Because I will eat his lunch. The next time I hear a Republican talk about us being tough on terror – give me a break!”
Finally, Mr. Biden’s target was Mitt Romney, the Massachusetts Republican running for president. “I found Romney’s statements yesterday profound – crazy — when he talked about going to war with Iran,” he said. “Why are we talking about going to war with Iran?”

Later on Biden was seen at a 7-Eleven speaking with an Indian accent.

Biden has two brain cells left, and they are waving “good-bye” to each other.

Biden claimed (falsely) to have attended Syracuse University law school on a full academic scholarship and to have graduated in the top half of his class, and that he’d received an F in a law-school class for an apparent act of plagiarism…well, “homage” didn’t quite cover it. At best, Biden was a careless, immature overstriver. At worst, he was a liar. Either way, as Republican consultant Eddie Mahe told The New York Times that year, “What all of this means in a nutshell is that Joe Biden will never be elected president of this country.”

Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Delaware Democrat, exacerbated his reputation for volcanic oratory when he turned on a New Hampshire resident who had asked Biden about his law school grades.
“I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do,” Biden snapped. Nor did he let it go at that, replying that he was graduated from law school in the top half of his class and suggesting that the questioner was “a heartless technocrat” for caring more about law school grade averages than about leadership abilities.
Biden made his remarks during one of those meet-the-candidate gatherings that do not rate extensive coverage. But a C-Span camera was there, homing in on Biden’s mirthless grin as he chewed out the hapless questioner.

“You talk too much and you say things without thinking about them,” Ornstein, a friend and admirer, told the senator as he was gearing up for his candidacy.
“I know I’ve got to be more disciplined,” Biden replied.
Biden should arrested and thrown into Guantanamo with the other terrorists.
