Most of the candidates support the war, but Hunter is the only candidate that has a son that served two tours in Iraq (including Fallujah), and his son will be doing a THIRD tour, this time in Afghanistan.
He has a lot a stake personally, as well as defending our country, wouldn’t you say?
So we know that Hunter is sincere, and who more than Hunter has more of a right to support our troops and America’s safety?
I’ll post a BUNCH of his issues on my next post to “All,” and you will find that there are a heck of a lot more than “two.” May I suggest you do a bit more research?
Other posters have mentioned some of these, but I will reiterate, and add some of my own regarding Hunter’s issues:
Hunter is the only politican that was EFFECTIVE on building a fence at a strategic place on our borders (which made crime go down tremendously in San Diego), authored the bill for a 854 mile double fence which was signed into law, STRONGLY pro-life a 26 year pro-life history NO FLIP FLOP HERE, understands the Red China threat and Chinas trade imbalance through cheating, knows his defense (was Chairman of the Armed Services Committee when the Republicans had the majority, fought hard for the missle defense shield, won a medal in Viet Nam & his son did two tours in Iraq and will do a 3rd tour in Afghanistan) voted for traditional marriage between a man and a woman through HJ Res 88; supports a Constitutional Amendment allowing prayer in public schools.
“I agree with him on the border issue, but totally disagree with continuing the war in Iraq and was horrified by his analysis of it.
Occupation is a good thing. - This is a direct quote from Hunter during the interview.”
The alternative to occupation in Iraq is for Al Queada or Iran to take over Iraq. Which one are you rooting for?
Demand a border fence! Build it NOW!! Beef up the border patrol and close our borders!
