Senator's Number on Escort Service List
Tuesday, July 10, 2007 WASHINGTON - Louisiana Sen. David Vitter, whose telephone number was disclosed by the so-called "D.C. Madam" accused of running a prostitution ring, says he is sorry for a "serious sin" and that he has already made peace with his wife.
"This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible," Vitter said Monday in a printed statement. "Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there - with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way."
Vitter's spokesman, Joel Digrado, confirmed the statement Monday evening in an e-mail to The Associated Press after a statement purported to be from Vitter was received by to the AP bureau in New Orleans.
It said his telephone number was on old phone records of Pamela Martin and Associates before he ran for the Senate.

Maybe this is a Freudian glimpse into why Sen. Vitter is supporting a serial adulterer RINO, Rooty JulieAnnie, for president. I certainly can’t imagine any other reason.
Time will tell but Vitter’s cheating may help pick him up a Republican opponent in 2010.
Oh, but wait, it’s Louisiana, a state that re-elected the Godzillla of Adulterers, Edwin Edwards, who not only admitted to philandering but flaunted it proudly, THREE times.
Edwin Edwards: “the only way I can lose this election is to be found in bed with a live boy or a dead girl”.
Louisiana does LOVE it’s rogues.

Vitter has stepped up, admitted his infidelity, resolved the matter with his family, and changed his ways. To my mind, this is more of a positive story about the man than a negative one. I don’t demand or expect that anybody be perfect.
Contrast Vitter’s behavior with Clinton, who had (and presumably still has) a continuing problem, and never told the truth or resolved anything.
"In the metropolitan area in general, in the huge majority of areas, it's not rising at all. It's the same or it may be lowering slightly. In some parts of New Orleans, because of the 17th Street breach, it may be rising and that seemed to be the case in parts of downtown. I don't want to alarm everybody that, you know, New Orleans is filling up like a bowl. That's just not happening," said Vitter on August 30.

And just how do we know this?
Yes, they like certain Democrat rogues, but they disdain Republican rouges like David Duke and Buddy Roemer too. I don’t think this will sink Vitter in 2010, but there may be more there.
It’s like Brother Parete used to tell us. “If you do have to do it, find some girl...” At least he wasn’t harassing interns, and none disappeared.
Actually, as with the Libby pardon..this will revive the memories of all the “fun” times of the C linton administration. Though the loony left will attempt to embarass the GOP with hearings and comments about the Libby pardon and Vitter’s sins..the real loser in all this is Hillary..

What Vitter did was wrong, but it was years ago. The ONLY reason his name is coming out now is PAYBACK for his position against Illegal Immigration. That is how Washington works.
