I’m also wondering if Howie Carr will ever return to WRKO. I don’t see any reason that’s truly to Howie’s advantage for him to ever return again to WRKO. Howie’s absence will damage WRKO even more, and WRKO completely deserves it after their very poor treatment of Howie Carr over just the last year.

WRKO has been making one lame brained decision after the next for about a year now. almost to the point where it looks like they are deliberately trying to self destruct. It’s so bad they make the guys at CBS look smart.
Which brings me to my question, how long has this Julie Kahn been working at the station? JW also?

During one of Howie’s on site broadcasts before baseball season I was hanging out and got into a discussion with one of the station employees. I still have his card and he was not a low man on the totem pole.
Nice enough guy, very pleasant conversation and we discussed the new line up of the Red Sox on WRKO. He mentioned that WRKO was going to get major league baseball to change the start time of the weekday Boston Red Sox games so there would not be any interruption of Howies program. That sounded unlikely to me but the man insisted it was going to happen. He said the pregame would start at 7:00 and the game at 7:30. So much for that plan.
