I asked the same question when I was 16 years old.
Their own Arab people will not take them. They like them where they are and being a threat to Israel. If you look at a map and see little Israel completely surrounded by millions of square miles of Arab countries, you come to realize just how stupid this situation is.

So, you have this group of..."people"... who are taught from birth that the only good Jew is a dead Jew, then you have outsiders who want the Jews to reach out and embrace them. When the only possible expected result occurs, despite the efforts of the Jewish people, they are held to blame.
The Palestinians don't need peace, they need "domestication". They are animals. They have been used, savagely, by Islamofascists and are simply conditioned to serve as one more weapon against Israel.
Dismantle their "hate machine" first. Then in a generation or two, they may reach some level of enlightenment and truly strive for peace.
Yet until that time occurs, the hateful forces of Islam have twisted these people so that they can no longer live and thrive in peaceful society.
A fanatic cannot be reasoned with, he simply wants to kill. Such are the Palestinians. It is insane to expect the Israelis to do anything else except defend Israel. The Palestinians are a cancer of hate that can no longer be allowed to spread.

The general Arab population can’t stand the Palestinians...they are the brunt of countless jokes.

The question itself is flawed. A better question would be: Why can't Palestinians make peace with Jews? There is only one side that doesn't want peace. It does not matter what the Jews do.
