Reminds me of a story that an Israeli wrote to a newspaper about his experience. He and his family had been lifelong friends with an Arab family. Known this Arab family his entire life. The Arab family lived in a 2 room house. They owned that house for 90 years. Then they sold the house to their Israeli friend who then expanded it into a 5 room house. He was living in his new expanded house when one day someone came to the door. It was an Arab guy with his very young son. This Arab guy claimed that he lived in the house when he was a child and he wanted to show his childhood home to his son.

Now, being a close friend of the previous owners, the Israeli was puzzled. He didnt recognize the guy one bit. He doesnt recall this guy being a member of the Arab family that used to live there, but maybe, he thought, he could be wrong. So the Israeli allowed the Arab guy to take his son on a tour of the house. He watched as the guy described in great detail what he and his family did in each and every room when he was living in that house as a child. Problem was that the Arab also did that with the new rooms that the Israeli had added on. The rooms that didnt exist before the Israeli bought the place.

How is this any different than what is going on right her in the good old USA?

Something stinks about this story.

It sounded to me as if he bought the property many years ago but never lived there or did anything with it. He triumphantly shows an aerial photograph with the roof caved in. I'm not sure why. But someone fixed the roof and he's not claiming that it was he. There are probably laws about abandoned property, that just somehow didn't get mentioned.

I'm not sure why it matters that the supposed squatters are Arabs, and the supposed owner is a Jew. A-7 usually does a better job than this.
