Still infinitely safer than the “breaks up in flight” (Station 410 failure) or “suddenly stops flying” (engine failure - forget about autorotation because it’s not going to happen) CH-46 that it’s replacing.

At least the Osprey has the possibility of gliding.

Oh to have been there.....There is absolutely nothing like a full deck of aircraft waiting for the order to launch at the same time.
