The Sunnis of Anbar, both sheikhs and ordinary folk, deeply resent the attempted imposition of an extreme Sunni order on them and are prepared to conciliate with Iraqi Shias and cooperate with the U.S.-led coalition to prevent it from happening. So why pull out now? Why do Westerners remain so reticent about Wahhabism and its Saudi backers?

The second we pull out of Iraq the Iranians will move in rapidly and prepare to dislodge us from Kuwait.
Best course of action is to send the Sunni refugees to Syria where they can be aided through channels in Israel. This should thoroughly shame the Sunni in every country (for whatever that might be worth).

A secondary source could be pinned on the British guy who, with a map and a pencil, created this country of three ethnic groups that don't want to live together.
A third source might be everyone who thinks it is worth people getting killed over in order to preserve said British guy's map as is.
