Freedom Held Hostage

Last week I was surprised by an underhanded attack on our nation’s freedom. This attack did not occur on foreign soil or in the Middle East. The attack did not occur as a result of terrorists, radicals, or extremists. This attack against freedom was covered on C-SPAN and occurred on the floor of the Senate, in front of thousands of Americans. Religious freedom and freedom of speech are being compromised in the name of misguided compassion.

The S.1105 Hate Crimes Bill (often referred to as the Matthew Shepard Act) was introduced in the Senate last Wednesday as an amendment to the Defense Authorization Bill which involves funding for the war in Iraq. What do hate crimes have to do with the war in Iraq? Absolutely nothing!

What do we expect when the DemonRATs are allowed to get in power. They will railroad their socialistic agenda past the American public as fast as they can. They will do it on the back of needed legislation. They will do it in the dark of night without warning. Time to get those phone calls in.

The left uses the first amendment to make flag burning a-ok, and let the KKK march up and down our front lawns. As soon as some one so much as utters the word “hate”, though, they use the constitution like so much garbage as they scramble to take our rights away from us.

The real motive is to silence Christian churches who preach the Gospel. The Homocrats want to protect their precious homosexual deviants from having anyone dare to think they are
just that.

This will ultimately lead to armed stand-offs at churches across the land. If Bush signs it, then he exposes himself as a disciple of Satan.
