The way Ted Olson is sucking up to Rudy, I thought Rudy would nominate him. That would be Round 2 of Bush V. Gore.

That dog doesn't hunt anymore, my FRiend.

Just because we oppose Rudy doesn't mean that we support Hillary by default.

Guiliani is the only Republican who could win NY in the general election. It’s the only way this time around a Democrat will NOT win the White House, thanks to a horrible second term by Bush and the feckless GOP Senators.

I sincerely doubt that it makes any difference who you support or which GOP candidate gets the nomination.

“1- libs HATED him ( which has to be a good thing)
2- crime was cute
3-welfare was cut
4- taxes were cut
5-substantial increase in property values and legitimate business activity.
Seems like a pretty good record”

I think so too, especially when we consider his hawkish positions. It is clear Rudy’s record on federalist issues isn’t that good, though he is clearly superior to anyone in the Democrat field.

“a conservative wouldn’t need a committee to help him figure out what to look for in judges.”

Actually, Presidents Reagan and Bush have had advisors who helped them vet judicial candidates and do background checks to see how suitable they were.

I’m not saying that conservatives should rally around Giuliani for this alone, but the people he’s chosen reflect well on his judgement.

Voting for Giuliani for President is a bad move.

Bashing Giuliani like a hate-filled anit-American would and denying his leadership both during and after 9-11 makes you no better than the kooks who think President Bush planned the attacks.

You can support the reality of Giuliani’s successful leadership record without supporting him for President.

Lying about him to try to motivate people to not vote for him is what liberals do.

The more you lie about him, the more you will push people away from anyone you may support.

I plan to vote for Thompson if he runs and I do not have to lie about Rudy Giuliani to help Fred.

Yeah, after they were already in office. We haven't even had the first primary yet.

Roody is just doing this to try to appear conservative.
