Dick Morris may make obeisance (and possibly animal sacrifices) to the altar of polls and pollsters —

Ahmanutjob doesn’t.....

Being a dictator means you never have to say you’re sorry....

Not only do dictators not pay attention to polls, but this was a telephone poll. How many rural Iranians have telephones? This poll might be skewed to the more Western-leaning educated residents of cities.

Well, this is interesting.

Esp. since Cheney and co. have come online favoring military action.

Iranians are making incursions into Iraqi territory to attack coalition troops. And supplying sophisticatd efps to insurgents.

What would you say is the prudent course of action?

Divest from Iran NOW. Last chance before the trip goes one way and as I recall no one took action on polling in the former Soviet Union either.

The question remains can the Iranian people stop the mullahs? It doesn’t look good. Once a group like the Chinese Communists shows a willingness to employ deadly force against the civilian population, there’s only one method to overcome it.

And a bloody revolution does not seem in the cards in either country.
