It is Europe's biggest aerospace company-and its biggest corporate political football. . . snip
Airbus could certainly use some stability. Enders will be its fifth CEO since June, 2005. . . snip
At the same time, Airbus' maker faces unprecedented pressure from the strength of the euro against the dollar. . . snip
Sounds messy, and it's certain that politics will never be far below the surface in this company. But at least for now, EADS and Airbus look ready to get back to business.

The Euro’s strength against the Dollar may just be a reflection of European inefficiency.

Airbus reminds me of the Dallas, Texas school board. The Blacks undercut the Hispanic leadership, and the Hispanics undercut the Black leadership. The school board got so desperate, they finally had to hire a white male as superintendent to straighten out the mess.
If they are smart, they’ll hire an American instead of a Frenchman or a German.

Airbus already has a token American in upper management as the head of sales.

And even HE ain’t so intelligent from time-to-time. I know, no person is a 100% sage, but John Leahy can really make us-pro-Boeing folk really glad that we’re on the American side.

I thought it was a fat roadrunner....better check the glasses. Roadrunners are American birds; they wouldn't be found at a European airport.
