ytedk.com - Anniversary of Ted Kennedy's Chappaquiddick - July 19, 1969 (see the YouTube)

Y TED K DOT COM is the best website for info on Ted Kennedy leaving a young woman to die as he ran away to save his political hide.

Here is his office number: 202.224.4543. I just made my annual call to his office, this time gurgling water until his staffer hung up the phone.

For over eight hours, this slug of a human being was tying to concoct a story that would save himself. He allowed Mary Jo Kopechne to die in an air pocket in six feet of water. She was alive when he left her, and she could have been saved had he gotten help immediately.

How ironic that on overnighter is being pulled off by the Dems on the anniversary of Ted's overnighter.

Teddy had time to make more than forty phone calls to various lawyers, but for some reason neglected to call the cops until the next morning.

No, but you would be violating FR’s “defamation of animals” policy by degrading female dogs.

One of my favorites, even though Chappaquiddick is mis-spelled. I don't know who made it, so can't give them credit.

I forgot today was Mary Joe Kopechne Day. This is the day we celebrate her heroic sacrifice in keeping Teddy Kennedy from being elected President.

Back in the 80's or 90's, I read a book called "Senatorial Privilege" which vividly described the whole thing.

I read that book too. Good info.

Tomorrow is the day. I got an early start in case they are not answering the phones tomorrow.

I wonder, if I called Kennedy a son of a bitch, would I be violating FR's no profanity policy?

Only if somebody complains, I'd guess. I don't see any complaints.

The same idea in this article:

Ted Kennedy pulled an all-nighter last night - how ironic is that? There must be something about Ted Kennedy and all-nighters on July 18, because it was 38 years ago tonight that he pulled another one.
At Chappaquiddick.

the ted k murder, according to the picture, is different.
she told ted she was pg. ted said abort. she said she didn’t
murder babies. in frustration and anger she left in anger with his car. the bridge is very tricky and she went in the drink. ted said the xxxx with it and he swam across the bay
and went to bed. next morning witnesses said he appeared non-chalant. ted went out to get a newspaper and he became quite disturbed. then he began his many lies. truth may hurt but it is immensely better than lieing. marv

I don’t think it is that sinister. He got drunk, gave her a ride, and drove off the bridge. He ran away like a coward as the tried to concoct a story to save his political career.
