It would be VERY helpful if we could get 50 citizens to call Chief Justice Laura Stith and Richard McLeod to say NO to judicial activism.
There is currently a vacancy in the Missouri Supreme Court and the Appellate Judicial Commission selects three people for the Governor to select from.
Judge Stith is the chair of the Appellate Judicial Commission since she is currently Chief Justice. We need to apply pressure and shine a light on this process so they (liberal trial attorneys) back away from giving Governor Blunt a liberal panel. Richard McLeod is the local Missouri Bar member.
We want people to tell Judge Stith & Richard McLeod to:
A) Select conservatives for the panel to Governor Blunt
B) Please do not select liberal trial attorneys for the Supreme Court
C) I am opposed to liberals who legislate from the bench.

A great way to phrase this request in a less politically aligned manner is to ask for non-activist judges on the slate. Not conservative activist or liberal activist but non-activist in general.
