Perfect Howie fodder.

I can't place Batchelor. Is he any good?

Speaking of Drudge and last Sunday's fixation on Mr. Soccer and Spice, will Batchelor report on the numbers for that show Drudge was hyping?

Or will Max have them?

JB had his own program for about 5 years and he was very good. He always had interesting guests and he conducted fascinating interviews. I did not always agree with him but he had a huge following. One segment he always had was an on air book review with the author. Howie was on the show when his book came out and of course I missed it....just my luck. I really liked Batchelors style. I suspect JB will be a bit more serious than Mr. Soccer!

I was generally listening to Art Bell. Or if I really couldn't sleep, I have a small sw radio and use it as a pillow speaker, and listen to the Australian news.

I was went to listen to AB's tribute show. Either Clear Channel mucked up, or my sound card got hosed. The mp3 files are heavy with hum.

When I checked last night, and they were rerunning the show before the regularly scheduled time, and it sounded and recorded fine. I got the last ~90 minutes.

I got an audio program that made it listenable with a single stock filter, but it wasn't of the "crystal clear FM" quality. (Howie should take note....)

Too bad, I really wanted the classic clips, but not bad enough to spend time playing around with it.

Hasn't Sheets been 3x'ing for years?

I liked the time when Crist(?) left him standing up there by himself. "Where is my opponent?...."

Marty Meehan...you can trust him. He’s not like all the
others. You say you’ll just serve 4 terms and leave?
Sounds great! :) (If not for the U-Lowell job you’d have to
pry that Congressional seat out of his cold, dead hands...)

Unfortunately, many Democrats and Republicans are at fault for breaking term limit pledges. Nobody can really just put the blame on just the Democrats on this issue! Politicians at every level from both major political parties get into office, and then, they refuse to give up the power that they continue to have while in office.
