More like the Jihadists are patiently probing our defenses -- like ants that send a scout out to serve as a pathfinder for the rest. While the scouts operate, AQ continues getting assets in place while letting apathy build in the West (and meanwhile gleefully watching our "politicians'" self-adoring feeding frenzy.

It only makes sense that anytime an AQ "scout" is detained, deplaned, or otherwise frustrated from finding a weakness, that the Jihadists would use America's greedy lawyers and liberal "inclusionists" to gear up the legal system to pummel anyone who interfered. It wouldn't take too long before citizens would learn to keep their heads down and their mouths shut rather than risk losing their life savings in a lawsuit (which would drain many people's savings, even if they won!).

The "John Doe amendment" would deny that weapon to the terrorists. So killing it only serves the Jihadists (and the trial lawyers.)
