Heres the roll on the Senate John Doe protection amendment, which missed the 60-vote threshold by 3 votes. Interesting facts: No Republican voted against it. GOP presidential candidate Sam Switchback Brownback didnt bother to vote. Hillary voted for it. Obama sat it out:
Check where your Senator stands. They will try to keep this from the public but we should all know and respond.

My Senator voted to be able to sue anyone who sees and reports suspicious activity (thereby, caving to Muslim radicals). He will be hearing from me (and hopefully be made aware that this is not going to be the secret action he had hoped it might be).

The Democratic Party, putting terrorists and crimmigrants needs ahead of the needs of American citizens for years.

The headline's misleading - it states the House Dems killed the amendment, but while many House Dems voted against it, it passed in the House by roughly a 3-1 margin.
It was the Senate Dems who killed it.

Did MeCain make this vote?
He should have, his campaign doesn't have bus fair!

This Amendement would protect American citizens who see something suspicious and report it to authorities (ie., the incident at the airport in Minneapolis where several Muslims were acting suspicously) from being sued. The Dems want anyone who sees anything suspicious to “just shut up and not report it” and feels that radical Muslims should be able to stifle people from reporting incidents by intimidating them with lawsuits.
