50 German Firms Under Investigation For Helping Iran's Nuke Program

LONDON - Germany is investigating scores of companies suspected of aiding Iran's nuclear program. Officials said 50 German companies may have been involved in the sale dual-use systems and material required for Iran's nuclear project. They said Berlin has determined that the shipments were being used to complete Iran's nuclear energy plant at Bushehr.

"The equipment was ordered by Russia and diverted to Iran," an official said.

On July 12, Germany prosecutor Christoph Lange identified one of the companies. Lange said the Berlin-based company Vero was suspected of shipping nuclear material to Moscow via Poland. From there, he said, the material was exported to Iran.

Vero was identified as a supplier to Bushehr since 2000. Officials said the company purchased nuclear technology from dozens of companies in Germany for Russian contractors of Bushehr...

This comes as no surprise. German firms were responsible for 98% of Saddam’s WMDs.

” Lange said at least a dozen of the German firms knew that Iran was the final destination. “

Why? because they hate our asses! We gave them food, clothing and fuel and saved their sorry asses from starvation and communism. They hate us for this. The German people are not able to have loving kindness in their hearts and minds.

“Nazis to the end”

I don’t think so. I believe it’s just capitalism practiced in the absence of morals.

It’s the same kind of thing that the Chinese are doing when they substitute anti-freeze for glycerin. Who cares as long as we make the bucks!

When morality goes out the window, evil creeps in.

No surprise here, as Germany has been doing the same thing with other countries...remember back to the Gulf war, teh Balkans, etc. They receive no discipline for it, so why change?

Are we surprised? The chief suppliers have been Russia and China. But Chirac and Schroeder were eager to sell stuff to Muslim terrorists, and I don’t know if things changed in Germany after Schroeder left office to work more closely with Putin. Nor do I know if the new French government has stopped playing footsy with the Arabs. I doubt it.

I strongly believe that many Germans are still very much antisemitic and that is why so many Germans are willing to help islamic terrorist regimes to acquire WMD's.

Looks like Russia deserves a lot of credit too.

And regarding Iraq, there was good reason that France, Germany, and Russia fought so hard to prevent our overthrow of Saddam. In the end, they at least delayed the invasion long enough to allow cover up their duplicity. Apparently, too, Bush cut a deal to conceal any evidence that might have been found.

What do the Iranian textbooks say about Hitler[?]

That he was an idealist, but too moderate and not decisive enough.
