The President is within striking distance of another great opportunity. Lets hope he doesnt miss it this time around.
The opportunity is actually two-fold, wherein he can advance the cause of justice, and convey something important to American citizens, all at the same time.
Bush is being asked to commute the sentences of two former U.S. Border Patrol Agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, both of whom are in prison and serving 11 and 12 year sentences, respectively.

The Dims are even starting to see an opportunity on this one.
If you guys heard the supposed more complete facts of the case and witnesses spoken of this week on KFI640, you’d doubt it as well. Three other agents I believe testified against their view of the story and were eye witnesses.
Still, why does a drug dealer get a pass and a chance to sue civilly in courts?
I hope what ever the right result is for the border agents, that it happens.
Please President Bush...this is the right thing!
And Hernandez as well, also railroaded to prison.

We will keep praying for our beloved W as usual, and we do hope he comes around, but there’s not much hope for at least a few weeks of any logical activity.
