And it isn’t “replacement theology.”

Call it what you like, but in any seminary it would be labeled for what it is: Supersessionism, aka Replacement Theology. It comes straight from the mouth of Bala'am - and you are welcome to it. Condi Rice and George Bush are fellow followers of Supercessionism.

If you are so anti-Israel, why do you read these threads?

It's a sad fact that far too many Christians get their "facts" from books written by modern day "prophets" as opposed to studying the Bible to find the truth.

Btw, I meant to tell you that I don't read a lot of Christian books. If I have time to read, I read the Bible, so I get my knowledge from reading the Bible, prayer, studying it and meditating on His Word.

“If you are so anti-Israel, why do you read these threads?”

I’m not anti-Israel in the sense that I believe in their right to exist and their right to have a homeland, especially after the Holocaust.

I used to believe as you and others do on these threads but changed when I studied the Bible more closely.

So now because I think that Christian Zionism is not only unbiblical and dangerous, and the fact that since Christ every generation of Christians thought they were living in the “last generation,” I’ve been trying to get other Christians to study the Bible more closely. We’re here to be witnesses for Christ after all.

But now that I think about it, you’re right. Since I myself can’t change opinions, I should just stay away from these threads and I will.

Secy. Rice: Israel Must End Occupation of 'West Bank'

Oh, Condi, poor co-opted idiot. The occupation of the West Bank was ended when Israel took over. It had been occupied since the late 1940's when Arab nations launched a surprise attack intending to annihilate the soon-to-be new nation. The West Bank was part of Isaeli territory. And even before that, the land to the east of the Jordan River was to be Arab and to the west, Israel. Two thirds of Palestine is already an Arab state: Jordan.

Since the treaty that created Jordan in the first place was signed, that has been international law. So by law the occupation must end. Time to put on the big boy pants and suck it up.

All the land west of the Jordan belongs to Israel, and the Palestinian/Jordanian Arabs must leave the west bank immediately. Throwing in repatriation fees for the damages for the illegal invasion of Israel is optional.

That’s the law...

Romans 9:7-8: “Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” In other words, IT IS NOT THE NATURAL CHILDREN WHO ARE GOD’S CHILDREN, BUT IT IS THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE WHO ARE REGARDED AS ABRAHAM’S OFFSPRING.”

The promise is Christ. I didn’t say that; the Bible says that. Scripture must be interpreted in light of Scripture.

The Promised Land isn’t real estate in the Middle East; it’s in Heaven, with Christ.

Condolezza Rice has no clue about the real world. As Secretary of State she is in way over her head. Who the heck is advising her? Why, the State Dept as usual, the national apologists for Middile East terrorists.

She apparently can’t tell the difference between the productive, peace-loving, technologically innovative, donor to needy nations of Israel on the one hand and hardened terrorists, blood thirsy group on the planet, the Palestinian Arabs.

To be fair, that’s just the nature of FR. Writer X, previously someone we’ve never heard of, can write a single rah-rah column, and some here will be saying, “Writer X ‘08!”

Yes, good point!

I remember that and I thought people were NUTS then and they thought I was nuts not to like Condi. But she has made many comments that show her not being for Israel and she needs to go. She is unfit for her job, Israel is our friend and has every right to be where they are, but not to the likes of Condi.

And some of us here believed in Holy George and what he was doing, but we got smart; it took a while, but it happened.
