STAMFORD, Conn., July 25 — His grandfather was a leading Russian theatrical director and the son of a princess. His grandmother was a pioneering modern dancer. His uncle retired three years ago as chief executive of a major public relations company.
But this week, the family of Joshua Komisarjevsky was under a different sort of spotlight. On Tuesday, Mr. Komisarjevsky, 26, was charged with 13 felony counts, including kidnapping and sexual assault, in the brutal invasion of a home in Cheshire, only a few miles from his own house in the same town. By the time the ordeal was over, a woman and her two daughters were dead, and the father, a prominent doctor, was in the hospital after being clubbed in the head.

He was beaten to an almost unrecognizable pulp with a baseball bat, tied up, and tossed in the basement.
Still in the hospital. He was tied up in the basement and beaten. He escaped while the house was on fire and made it to a neighbors. From what I recall reading somewhere, he was still tied up during his escape.
Komisarjevsky is Russian for Kennedy.
I think we should bring back the punishment of being burned at the stake.

Yeah, except for Fox, the MSM is not reporting the details. The girls were white and thus, in the mind of liberals, not a real “victim”.
Gee, the New York Times is awfully quick with profiling evil people and The Enemy.
I don’t watch much cable or broadcast news, but I have been surprised this has been a big story on the web. And it sounds like most details are being reported. That’s good, as horrible as it is, because the public needs to be aware of how much evil is out there and that they must protect themselves.
I see that the younger slimeball was a step grandson of the conservative columnist John Chamberlain, who also lived in Cheshire. That was a shocker. I think one of Chamberlain’s daughters was Tanya Metaksa, who was a VP of the NRA.
If some in the “news” media are not wanting to give a lot of details it probably is because they support a criminal coddling agenda. There would be even less news if the “complexion” of the crime were different, if you know what I mean. For example, most people on here are familiar with the Wichita carjacking/rapes/murders of Dec. 2000. The circumstances were somewhat similar to this CT case. Yet I don’t recall hearing one word about that from the mainstream media at that time.
So much for the nonsense about how poverty causes violence and taxpayers shouldn’t be so stingy about funding more “programs.” No goverment program (except prison!) or education would have prevented this kid, who was obviously just pure evil, from doing what he did.
I have to wonder if this “non violent” offender and his excrement partner weren’t really filthy perverts who intentionally targeted Mrs Petit and her daughter because they wanted to do this to a child.
If any victims’ rights/pro death penalty rallies are planned for the Cheshire area, let me know. I will be there.
I do not consider a death penalty appropriate in this case.
It is way too easy on the perps. It’s time to get medieval.
A thousand possibilities - all tried and true - come to mind.
I would agree with you about the death penalty *if* savages could be given true cruel and unusual punishment in prison. If hard labor were still allowed, or if they could be kept in solitary confinement the rest of their lives, I would prefer that to the very human death of being given a shot like youre being put to sleep.
At the same time, you never know in the future when some murderer could escape from prison, do harm to the guards, or even be freed by some left wing judge because of “overcrowding.” Killing them is the only way to ensure they will never harm another person.
In this case it can't even be ascribed the the MSM's distaste for reporting gruesome crime details when the perps are minorities. The subhumans here being white, it runs far deeper and is much worse--the MSM basically don't want frightful criminals like these two to be prosecuted and executed. They also don't want people arming themselves to avoid just this fate. A crime like this by two unspeakable, subhuman things that should have been in prison for the rest of their lives just contradicts too much liberal theology to be fully publicized, even when the perps are white.
The other great benefit of the death sentence, even when it's not executed, is that it's probably the closest to a sure fire "life with no parole" that can be achieved because the subhumans are kept on death row appealing until they die natural deaths in prison.
It is also frightening to the MSM functionaries. It hits too close to home. Many of them live in CT or thereabouts, and they are accustomed to the “it can’t happen here” mentality.
By reporting these events they would have to actually face the posibility that sooner or later their own precious well-being may be compromised. After all, the bad things only happen to the unwashed in the fly-over country.
Actually, he is correct and deserves a little slack
The real question for the poor DA in that Liberal cesspool is “Given the sort of jury pool we are likely to get, and the nature of defendents, can we make a Capital Charge stick?”
You point out one of the big flaws WITH life imprisonment vs. death penalty. No matter how secure the prison, there is always a chance of escape.
Oh, did anyone on here read that the young guy involved had been burglarizing homes since age 14 and he comes from a prominent family. I keep thinking there IS something to the Bad Seed theory.

The NYT went on about his grandparents and his grandfather’s mother being a princess, but they “forgot” to mention that the Joshua was adopted. I guess that does not sound as sensationalistic as having a killer whose “great-grandmother” was a Russian princess....
The parents of this killer adopted him as a baby. Although legally, all of the information the NYT stated is true (the grandfather is then the grandfather by adoption), I think the entire scenario painted by the newspapers is then misleading. The killer is not descended from royalty. Nor is he Russian.
Perhaps the dinosaur media knows the murderers are a gay twosome. So no reporting on this story. Are the perps gay? This is my bet. You got a 40 year old guy with shaved head and his young acolyte. Burning down the house it totally stupid and amateurish
