Anyway, the only voice on talk radio that is not a drone is Michael Savage. And he alone championed the case of the Duke Lacrosse players from the very beginning. I remember the day very well. As usual, Savage predicted what would happen, just like the immigration atrocity that almost happened….just like the Dubai Ports thing. Why is it this guy seems to be the only one who gives a damn about something OTHER than partisan politics?

Is American Chronicle a serious outfit? This guy obviously doesn't listen to talk radio other than Savage. Is AC a PR firm?

I remember some callers were asking him how he could rush to judgment so soon.

He called ‘her’ the ‘Durham dirtbag’, and called Nifong out for his pandering to the black vote.

oh, it couldn't have been that nifong took himself down? i suppose if it wasn't for savage, the duke boys would all be in jail right now. sheesh!

did it really take a genius to see through this from the beginning? the only difference is that everyone else who saw it didn't have a national radio show.

Savage hits the nail on the head, AGAIN! As ususal! He smelt a rat in the Duke Lacrosse case and called it out early!

You are aware that Michael Savage is a fictional character played by Michael Weiner, a liberal Democrat?

I guess this writer does not listen to Rush, Sean or any east coast local talk shows, or read Free Republic, What a strange accolade to give to Michael Weiner.

He may be right, but he’s unlistenable (if that’s a word). He gives me a headache in 30 seconds.

I enjoy listening to Savage, but this statement is 100% absolute BS. A total and complete lie.

Sean Hannity was a loud and clear voice in defense of the Duke Lacrosse players from day 1, and frankly I thought he talked about it too much.

Of course, living in the Raleigh/Durham area, it was all I heard.

I enjoy listening to conservative talk radio — Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and others. However, they are “sissies” compared to Mike Savage! Mike is a highly educated person who talks like “Joe Six-pack.” That I really understand and enjoy. He, more than the others, says almost exactly what I am thinking. Mike makes it simple and clear: borders, language, and culture. He has almost superhuman insight into events that are direction markers to our future. His book, The Poltical Zoo, is an excellent, thoroughly researched piece of work, that is a handy reference for me. Of course I have all of his books.

You never know what to expect from Savage: one minute you’re shaking your head in agreement, saying, “right on, right on”; then suddenly he hits you with a right cross, and you’re asking, “where the hell did that come from”.

The author of this piece is clueless. Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Rush, Mark Levin, Dennis Prager, and everybody else on conservative and libertarian talk shows talked about it incessantly.

I listen to Rush, Hannity, and Laura Ingraham almost every day, and they championed the case from beginning to end, and then some.

You need to get out more.

Nifong took himself down by idiotic statements and misleading comments. Savage couldn’t take down the town dogcatcher if he tried.

Not a Savage listener, but good on him for getting it right. Larry Elder was also nailing it very early on.

AFAIK, Free Republic was the first to call BS on this case.

Savage isn’t a drone; in fact, he’s probably the most independent thinker in radio. When a guy is hated by both the Democrat AND Republican establishments, he’s probably worth listening to. If he’s bashed by anti-semites in internet forums, he might be worth listening to even more.
