Iowa Christian Alliance: Hosts Hon. Tommy Thompson At Clive House Party

Iowa Christian Alliance, formerly known as Christian Coalition of Iowa, is pleased to host 2008 Presidential candidate, Hon. Tommy Thompson, at its Clive house party on Tuesday, July 31 from 5:30-7:30 P.M.

The event, which will take place at the home of hosts Jeff and Melissa Jochims, will provide Des Moines area activists an opportunity to meet Hon. Thompson and become familiar with his policy positions. “We are thrilled that Hon. Thompson has accepted our invitation to introduce himself to ICA supporters and let us know where he stands on the issues that face our nation,” stated Steve Scheffler, ICA’s president.

Here’s the latest story on Tommy Thompson that I’ve seen. Given his accomplishments in Wisconsin, it would be interesting to hear what he says before this audience.

How does one become “The Honorable”—simply by being a member of Congress? That seems a bit much when you think of some of the rascals that have held that position.

“The Honorable” tends to apply if you’ve won ANY civic office, federal, state, or local. Yes, it is sickening to see those of whom that are entitled to the title.

A) Opposing ALL amnesty legislation and firm that ALL illegals MUST be sent back to their own country.

B) Proven, CONSISTANT, RELIABLE pro-life views throughout his ENTIRE career

C) On record that one of his first acts in the White House would be a full PARDON for Border Agents Ramos and Competeon

D) PROVEN record on strict constructionist judges that do NOT legislate from the bench

E) Proudly endorsed FAIRTAX with a PLEDGE to sign it into the law the MOMENT it reaches his desk -- and PROVEN record standing up for tax cuts and slashing pork barrel spending

F) Proven RESULTS and LEADERSHIP in office, rather than padding resume with how good he sounds on TV and all the nice stuff he's done in the private sector

G) NO ties to ever endorsing the anti-soviegnity agenda of the RINO sellout crowd, especially McCain-Feingold, the Council on Foreign Relations, La Raza, NAFTA, etc.

So far I've only found ONE presidential candidate who has held statewide office and can claim all of the above. His name is TOMMY Thompson.
