Our only hope in 2008 is to cause infighting amongst the left, IMHO.

Yep. If Sheehan will really run against Pelosi I’d send Sheehan 10 bucks except I wouldn’t want Fidel to get my name as a likely friend.

Republicans are in disarray, and the likelihood of a Democrat taking possession of the White House at the 2008 election seems to increase by the day. Sounds like something Baghdad Bob would say.

Ms. Sheehan should ponder whose interests are really served by her challenge to Ms. Pelosi. If she did so, she might also realize why Mr. Limbaugh is so keen to take her into his tender embrace. Fat chance : This broad is to enamored with herself to to believe anything other than everyone loves her. The funny thing is, as looney as the left is she just might win.

The problem here is not really Ms. Sheehan or Mr. Feingold. It is the strand of political activism of which she, in particular, is an exemplar. Ms. Sheehan represents a constituency that prefers to lose while glorying in its own ideological purity rather than sully itself in the battle for incremental victories. Wow! Sounds like some flavors of conservatism.

If Cindy Shaheen were elected to Congress, she would be an embarrassment to her own party and a publicity boon to conservatives. All that bad press that we could post!

Once again if the author of this POS story knew anything about Rush besides what he hears,.....he would understand
what Rush has been saying all along. From the beginning, when Sheeeshan came on the scene the rats used her as a .....hmmmm...let’s say, Bush beater. Then when she went international....they dropped her faster than Wiley E. could find a cliff.

Mr. Limbaugh added, by way of summing up: Cindy Sheehan, when all is said and done, is a sympathetic and pathetic figure. This guy seems to be wetting his pants because Rush mentioned his article. Calling Cindy sympathetic and pathetic does not = love in my book.

Sheehan was a useful idiot of the left, no more, no less, all of the visits she took to see Cahvez, Hug Jesse Jackson, covort with Senators were merely extraction of whatever political capital that could be sucked from her husk.
Now, even the Boyz at Kos have thrown her overboard in favor of Hilliary Q&A’s.
It is my opinion that no matter how poorly the Iraq War is polling, the more the Dem candidates talk, the more Conservatives and Moderates will vote “R” as long as they are pallatable to their psyches.
“Oh, so you didn’t like Shamnesty? Check out Hilliary’s plans and votes”
Really, so you pay too much in taxes? All of the Democrat candidates for Prez want tax hikes, and the Dem house wants to ley Tax relief” slip into the sunset..”
Second Amendment getting you down?
No worries, there is a new rifle ban on the way.
Keep talking Dhimis, just keep talking....

This guy really powerfully doesn’t get it with regard to US politics.
Rush’s reference to the “cruelty” of the left is absolutely true and consistent. They do eat their own young if it serves the Party.
And the whole lot of them have gotten completely sidetracked by their wacko elements.
Good.

:... the Sheehanite left remains, in Winston Churchills old phrase, so enraptured by the integrity of their quarrel that it has little interest in political reality. There is truth there, but the political fact is that the "Sheehanite Left" is who all the Democrat contenders for the presidency are pandering to. Those wing nuts will select their candidate in 2008.
Out political system isn't broken, but the Primary system sure as hell is broken. There is something to be recommended to the old 'smokey back rooms' that existed before the 60s revolution.

Quite the contrary - 2008 is our election to win so long as we stay united. More people in this country, and specifically more voters choose Republicans (notable exceptions being the ballot stuffers, illegal aliens and the dead).

Countering what? The Democrats are making fools of themselves. I say, stay out of their way and let them. They came into power and haven’t accomplished a single thing they set out to do, except for raising the minimum wage. The Republicans in congress have so far stymied them at every turn.
What the GOP needs to do is recruit good candidates for the House and Senate seats in ‘08. There is no reason we can’t clean house in the elections.

Its icky enough to even think about wanting moonbat Cindy to beat up on Pelosi...
on that topic - whoever her handlers are really should tell her you don’t become speaker by winning the current speaker’s district.
But to be purely objective, the more left wing radicals who run as a third party the better the chance for conservatives to get elected.

The author is such a bag. He's drunk and/or angry tonight that RL didn't mention his squeak Thurs. or today. Like all who try to troll Rush he betrays himself with glaring ignorance of who who Rush is.
