West Palm Beach The Republican Party of Palm Beach County says 60 people appear to have voted illegally in both the Florida and New York elections last Nov. 7.
Republican Party Chairman Sid Dinerstein believes voter fraud is there and that law enforcement should take their list of 60 people "and see who's doing what."
But several people on the list contacted by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel said the Republican Party has it all wrong. "Impossible," said Shirley Goldberg, an 82-year-old Democrat who lives in Delray Beach. "I registered and voted in New York when I lived there. But I've been here for the last 12 years. I haven't voted in New York since."
Goldberg retired from a job in a Brooklyn hospital more than a decade ago. Dinerstein said, "These are allegations, we have no certainty. We compiled this list from the best data available to make the strongest list possible. And now law enforcement should take over."
The Republican Party announced Wednesday that it filed complaints of voter fraud July 20 with the State Attorney, Florida Division of Elections, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the State Attorney General and the U.S. Attorney's office.
The party has asked the Division of Elections to open an investigation to determine whether these 60 voters violated Florida voting laws and should be prosecuted for voting in two states in the same election. Dinerstein said that anyone registering to vote in Florida must sign a form that they reside in the state and note any other state in which they are registered.
A spokesperson for the Division of Elections said the agency "had only just become aware of the issue and is studying it."
Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer could not be reached for comment.

Somebody got some splaining to do, Lucy.
L
This doesn’t surprise me. Hopefully, the state will keep closer tabs on this in the future.
Maybe you haven't, Shirley. But somebody has...
I doubt it. Democrats need this to steal elections and advance their liberal/pro-Al-Qeuda agenda.
Every state in the union has this problem to a greater or lesser extent. The only more prevalent problem is dead voters who are still voting (not including ballot stuffing, which is a whole different category).
You’re crazy if you think the dems will allow monitoring of voters both dead and alive, those that may or may NOT live in the area.
THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE
Florida is a Republican-voting state (although marginal in Presidential elections), and Democrats hold few statewide offices. The state government isn’t about to help the Democrat party.
dead voters
that explains why the american revolution and civil war vets voted for both gore in 00 and kerry in 04.
Illegal aliens as well. Their vote numbers outdistance the other illegal voters by a wide margin. Of course the common factor in all of them is their political party of choice — Democrat.
In Palm Beach County? No way! That's gotta be a typo, 600 or 6,000 maybe, but not just 60.
If only the Republicans had control of the White House and the Justice Department.
These 60 are just the known cases of Democratic fraud.
She actually may be telling the truth.
If she vote by absentee ballot for the election the the New York election FROM FLORIDA, then, she would technically be telling the truth.
She may also be the victim of an over zealous relative in NY who used her identity.
I would like to see the evidence and prosecution of this crime, but it will never happen.
“THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE”
Is that “organized crime”?
If so, wouldn’t RICO apply? ;^)
Well it could be Democrats in NY casting phony ballots for people who are still on the voter rolls but don't vote. If they can rise the dead to vote, I am sure voting for someone who has left the state is no problem.
LOL, yes the true number’s are probably much higher - I think this was a sting operation on the snowbirds from NY state only.
They’d better be careful, or they’ll only get to vote for Hillary once next year.
Surely, you can't be serious.
I live in Pennsylvania, and I’m sure I’ll be voting democrat long after I’m gone, whether its to Florida or to the grave. I might as well vote democrat after death,as I’m not doing it now.
I guess that some persons in the shoes of Ms. Goldberg are actively voting in both places, but the prime suspects are the democrat party operatives and poll workers in New York.
