Actually you should move Presbyterians down to the bashing list. We’ve taken a lot, and some of it rightly so, in the past few years.

The phenomenon is not limited to FR. Anti-Catholic bigotry is tolerated by many widely practiced by the MSM, the Hollywood culture, the Gay advocacy groups, Feminists, the Abortion industry, Communists AND many evangelical Christians. Talk about strange bed fellows.

I don’t normally get involved in religious threads, but I gotta say...I’m a Baptist. A Southern Baptist, no less.
I’ve seen S. Baptists bashed pretty hard on some threads. I don’t care. Doesn’t bother me in the least. I know Whom I have believed. My house is build on Rock.
I guess if my house was built on sand, I’d get pretty upset when the waves bashed.
This is only my observation, and I am only speaking about those that use the name, “Christian” in describing themselves.
If a particular religious organization presents itself (and being a member) as the only way to salvation, or the only way to an acceptable eternity, it will tend to be bashed more than the others. If people tend to point to Christ and make Him, Personally, the Door, rather than their organization, they will tend to be bashed less.
This, of course, is not a hard and fast rule. I have seen some in the top list ridiculed, as well. Perhaps most Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians and Calvinists have more tendency to shrug it off.
If an individual truly believes that Jesus Christ, Himself, is the Door to Heaven, and not any particular named organized religious entity on this earth, it’s pretty hard to make him/her feel oppressed, if you demean an organization he/she happens to be a member of (for whatever reason). He/She feels no dependency on the organization for eternal safety. If it fails (they all do), Christ never fails. People fail, pastors fail, leadership fails, organizations fail. Christ never fails.
