FORT WORTH, Texas - Fed up with deadly drive-by shootings, incessant drug dealing and graffiti, cities nationwide are trying a different tactic to combat gangs: Theyre suing them. Fort Worth and San Francisco are among the latest to file lawsuits against gang members, asking courts for injunctions barring them from hanging out together on street corners, in cars or anywhere else in certain areas.

Many major US cities elect weak leaders and that filters down into the community. And of course, the PC police get involved.

End the “War on Drugs(TM)”. THAT will eliminate 90% of every sort of urban pathology in America at a single simple stroke.

I say, sic the IRS on them. I’m sure they declare all of their income from selling drugs...NOT!
That’s how they got Capone.

If this works, it’ll be a great sign that the people of the US can no longer handle self-government and are giving legislative and much domestic executive power to an oligarchy of lawyers.

That’s for sure!
If I were ever elected President — actually a higher probability of that than of legalizing drugs — I’d pardon every non-violent drug offender in America on day one and then take an hour or so every Friday morning to release anyone convicted over the past week.
The war on drugs is beyond stupid. And, this from someone that has never, ever used an illegal drug even one time.

I’d be concerned with blowback: the countersuit. And unlike gang members, I’m betting municipalities Do have something to lose.

End the War on Drugs(TM). THAT will eliminate 90% of every sort of urban pathology in America at a single simple stroke.Illicit narcotics would just be replaced by something else. If you want to eliminate 90% of every sort of urban pathology then encarcerate liberals.

If the SPLC jumps on every “hate” crime and files civil suits against the nearest “white supremacy” group — though there is no connection between the perps and the group save for the “influence” of the group’s rhetoric — then why not sue gangs? Make ‘em pay millions in damages, also! There’s money in the them thar’ gangs — act like the SPLC. Money, money, money. . . .
