Hello lainie and All. Great evening- 3 inches of rain in 1 hour here in CT. No flooding in basement yet but roads are closed all over town. Low lying areas are in critical flood condition. Huge thunderstorm and lightening. Spent under covers with my Westie so she would calm down. Now all is well.

What ticks me off is that the FCC won’t even consider any protests to dirty call signs.

So that means if somebody wanted the call sign like that one, the FCC would grant it automatically and there’d be nothing one could do about it.

A lot of the time, WABC is behind real time by 5 or more minutes. Most weekends, Matt is signing off, saying it’s ten o’clock!, at like 10:07. Occasionally, the WABC stream will be so late, he’ll run over his national broadcast (on air).

Any Spanish language station can sign up for a call sign with KK in the call signs... which would be pronounced “caca,” which is, of course, Spanish for the s-word, in the station ID.
