Paris Hilton’s recent behaviour has sent her billionaire grandfather into fury — so much so that the hotel heiress-cum-jailbird will not see a cent of her $59 million inheritance.
The co-chairman of the famous hotel chain, Conrad ‘Barron’ Hilton, has instead decided to plough his fortune into a charitable foundation in an effort to carry on family tradition.
And the 79-year-old has also cut off his 11 other grandchildren in the name of philanthropy.
"He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris," says Jerry Oppenheimer, author of House Of Hilton. "He doesn't want to leave unearned wealth to his family."
Hilton senior recently acquired a hefty $2.4 billion after selling off a massive chunk of his hotel chain to private equity firm Blackstone.
Given her grandfathers disapproval, Miss Hilton is now working hard to cash in on her fame while she can.

I disagree with Gramp’s decision. Let’s face it, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Granted Nicky seems to work a little harder but when you are entrenched in the party lifestyle, sh*t is bound to happen. aside from the sobbing in the cop car, she took prison rather well. Nicole anorexic ritchie gets 3 days of jail with twice the charges, wtf is that?

If she were to be totally cutoff (won’t happen, she can make money breathing in public) it would be like giving an obese kid an all you can eat buffet all their life. then they get fat, immobile and you say ‘oops no more food but here’s a knife go catch yer own’

He might be Willilam Barron Hilton but not Conrad.
This is the height of irony. Barron Hilton himself was cut out of the family will, as his father (the founder of Hilton hotels) wanted to leave the bulk of his estate to charity. Barron ended up contesting the will after his father’s death and getting it thrown out. Now it looks like Barron is starting to understand the disgrace that can easily come as a byproduct of huge inherited wealth. Barron may want to prepare his own trustee for a will contest as well.

Agreed. It stuns me that with all the money they have, rich people still decide to drive to the clubs. Good God they can drive during the day and go limo during the evening. I cannot believe all the celebs that have been busted on DUI’s lately especially.
Time to call in the attorneys and have gramps declared legally incompetent.

really with that amount of money, wouldn’t a limo be suitable for any occasion? i’ve had a suspended licence before and couldn’t drive for two years but when i finally could it was awesome. i was gliding again, but thats not the case with these. if they like, they could rent out their own indy track and floor it!
simply stupid, esp with coke in your pockets and an alcohol level ready to break the breathalyzer. paris wasn’t too bad, lohan’s career is pretty much done. i’m wondering how much jail time she’s gonna get, this is not a light offense.
and btw a day before that arrest i saw that ankle bracelet on her, .. yo that wasn’t for GPS that was for monitoring sweat so what went wrong there?? how come as soon as she touched a drink, her pores didn’t set off alarms somewhere and the rehab people didn’t drag her in?
