A co-worker's sister works for the immigration office in D.C.. He said after the immigration bill failed they halted most immigration processing of legal immigrants, she was scheduled for a lot of overtime. It would appear that Bush and Co. are doing a little "gotcha".
We have an employee that went home to China visiting and can't get back in the country now. But I'm sure the southern border is flowing like normal. Bush is one arrogant MoFo.

And the Grand Bargainers tried to claim that ICE could process Z-Visas in twenty-four hours. ICE and DHS are next to useless, based on this sorry story...

Enough money to spend years pursuing Libby, et al., but not enough to enforce laws theoretically in effect.

Wow. If true, that's actually damaging to our country. Legal immigration is needed to attract educated, talented people to the US.

Exactly. They could provide resources if they want to but they aren't.

If there is any kind of internal memo, circular, e mail, or minutes of a meeting, anything AT ALL that instructs Federal Employees not to enforce Federal Law, by any individual in the Executive Branch, that could be grounds for criminal action. If an elected individual, it could be grounds for impeachment.

Thanks. If we see this activity in other such US Federal Government offices around the USA, then there might be a central government directive, advisory or some other kind of action, from above, which comes dangerously close to a being a felony.
