Democratic leaders released a package of ethics changes they hope to have through the House and Senate before the beginning of their August recess. Under the bill, senators would have to identify their earmarks publicly two days before a vote.

The same people who turned the control of Congress over to them in the first place. The biggest issue, bigger than the war, was percieved "ethics" problems of Congress, well the Republican part of it. Ethics problems like those of "Cold Cash" Jefferson, ans "feathering her own nest" Fienstien, were swept under the rug as much as possible by their cohorts in the MSM.
