Sent a polite, articulate note to Mr. O’Reilly. That should fix things.
I quit watching bor about 1 year ago. After hearing him ‘report the news’ incorrectly, when I had just heard the opposite from the news reader, I became more of a ‘critical listerner’. When he refused to even listen to the business people on Fox about oil companies not gouging, and with the constant negativity about W and the WOT, I found better things to do with my time.
Haven’t watched O’Reilly in quite a while. I don’t intend to watch that idiot in the future either. The friggin’ statist doesn’t know his right from left, let alone what constitutes “hate”.
I don’t believe for one second O’Really is a RINO. He prides himself on claiming to be “independent,” but I would bet that he votes Democrat and is part of the 81% at Fox who donate to Democrats.
Fox runs it again this evening. It’s in the first 10 minutes. Lanny called FR a hate site. OReilly said hate sites on the right were just as bad as hate sites on the left, and that he would hold accountable republicans who frequented those places. And there was some mutually disdain expressed for Ann Coulter because she frequented these right wing sites. You can hear it however you want I guess. Runs again at 10 central time.
I’ll never watch O’Reilly again. Oh, wait a minute, I never have and don’t have cable. Never mind.
I watch on some Fridays - when Michelle is a guest host. But I really get upset and have to ‘mute’ the reruns of bor.

I don’t follow BOR much, but he seems to me to be a kind of traditional “Reagan Democrat” who will go for populist economic policies most of the time, leaning left, but wants a strong defense and still holds somewhat more traditional values and so is uncomfortable with the sheer depravity of so much of the Demagogic Party. Thus, a Ronald Reagan can win his vote for the Republican column, especially against weasels like Carter and Mondale, but most times he will vote for the Demagogues.

I think the title is accurate. I mean it doesn’t have quotes on it. I think what the title says is accurate... at least that’s how I heard the exchange between them. I think OReilly agreed with Lanny and even said that he would hold republican politicans accountable for being a part of these sites. They both expressed disdain toward Ann Coulter for her association with FR. Lanny was torqued about the way we treat “she who’s name cannot be mentioned”.
