Tests are being conducted this morning to determine what is the white substance that was dumped by a plane last night over a neighborhood in Bolles Harbor, Michigan, just south of Monroe.
The plane flew over the area about 8:30 last night, dumping a white substance on homes and vehicles in such a way that it looked like it was snowing.

His wife described it as a tan substance, almost talc-like. Mr. Dezell washed it off surfaces with no problem.Nestles Quick?

Did someone there die recently and want their ashes scattered in the harbor? That would be a pretty big person.

Prolly just a mixture of anthrax, blackpox (smallpox-bubonic chimera) and Ustinov Marburg.
Nothing to worry about as long you have duct tape.

Fly ash is a harmless by-product of the burning of coal. The only thing at odds with this theory is that fly ash, if its of a good quality, is a valuable admixture in low strength Portland cement. No way someone would eject it from an airplane if they could sell it. Even if it was of low quality, the risk of ejecting it from a plane and having everyone freak out (like what is happening here) is great.
Everyone should calm down until the material is identified....

It was Chicago.
The people weren’t homeless.
They were taking a river tour on a boat.
Its usually a pretty nice tour except for that day .....

it is white coal dust from a nuclear power plant stack blowdown; the plane was not the source Its not from the Fermi-II Nuclear plant (no coal there). It is most likely from the large Monroe plant or the smaller one at Luna Pier.
I wonder why residents haven't had flyash before so they knew what it was. I'd think it would be common by now... it was in the neighborhood of the power plant I used to work at.
I also wonder why the news was reporting a plane dropped "white powder"??????

For what purpose is a coal fired furnace used at the Fermi 2 Nuclear Power Station?Incinerator of lightly contaminated waste materials? If so, I would be careful breathing in the stuff.
Also soot in coal furnaces can be pretty radioactive all by itself.

If a coal plant cleaned a stack or lost a filter it would not be scary. A plane dusting houses with white powder is sacary, so that’s what gets reported.
If we are not frightened worried or hungry we can’t be controlled by anyone.
