Tuesday, February 27, 2007 A San Francisco weekly newspaper that bills itself as “The Voice of Asian America” is facing harsh criticism from that very community for publishing a column Friday titled “Why I Hate Blacks.” In the column, AsianWeek regular contributor Kenneth Eng listed “reasons” to discriminate against African Americans. How about a class action suit by all Freepers against O’Reilly and FOX! Maybe you’ll be able to hire us all as full time monitors! LOL!

I have something for you (quotes and links), although O’Reilly the antisemite didn’t and wouldn’t complain about it. ...probably best taken care of through Freepmail or e-mail.
I spend way too much time on Free Republic, and I’ve never read any of those statements; if I ever happened to see something similar, I’d hit the abuse button, so you’d know about it, too.
I come to FR for solace, I supported the Swifboaters for their rightgeousness, and the Minutemen for justice of it all. Man I must really be off kilter.

We are NOT DU or KOS types. We do have our occasional “over exuberants” at times, but they pale in comparison to the rabid DU and KOS bunch. I really felt bad for Kristinn, he has done so much for FR. and to sit there and have to listen to O’Reilly.
I have never read anything like that on here.

Yep; honesty is the the best policy, so what is the point? BOR is a a liar.
Aren’t they sweet racists to use words like dogs and blacks, instead of the F and N words? I would think hate speech would be much uglier than that.
Gotta be out of context if those were the worst examples he found.
I’ll add my 2c worth. I’ve never seen comments like those claimed by Factor. Hitlary’s been called names but that’s it (oops there I go again). I’ve never seen anyone call for gays to be murdered either. Either he’s run out of ideas or The Factor should check the credentials of his research staff. Maybe it’s time he actually took a personal interest in the stuff he’s putting out.
I don’t think this type of correspondence is helpful, it could be used tomorrow to “prove” how hateful FR is showing that BO was right all along.
If BO really did misstate the truth on his show such defamation could give JR some leverage. FR’s reputation has been damaged by BO and this leverage could be used to get some really positive PR in “payment”. Other bloggers could also be very helpful in correcting the impression left by BO again giving FR some positive publicity.
Although it initially seems like a slam to FR, it could become an opportunity. Everyone should keep cool, at least until all the facts are known.

I find i interesting that O’Reilly used a racist slur in 2003, calling Mexicans “wetbacks”. Of course he went on later to say that was not what he meant, and he expects people to understand that, and to accept his explanation.
Clearly the standard he applies to himself is not consistently applied to others, since he seems to have made up his mind that no matter what explanation is given by Freepers to disprove his assessment, FR is a racist place.
In that case, if reasoned explanation is not accepted, one may as well hang the racist label around his neck too.
