TERRE HAUTE Indiana State University legislative liaison Greg Goode has tossed his hat into the ring for Indianas 8th District congressional race.
I am Greg Goode and I am running for Congress, Goode told a cheering gathering of more than 100 supporters Wednesday evening at the Clabber Girl Bake Shop in Terre Haute.

Goode for Congress: Greg Goode chats with Brad Anderson and Craig McKee after making his announcement that he'll be running for Congress on Wednesday evening in the Clabber Girl Bake Shop and Museum in the Hulman Building. Bob Poynter/The Tribune-Star
Greg is fiscally and socially conservative, pro-life and an NRA member. A true Republican.
YAY!!! With the last two congressmen for that area coming from Evansville it’ll be good to get a different perspective, especially from Bayh country.
Now if only Eric Dickerson will put himself forward again to run for Indiana’s 7th.
Another one with pretty hair.
Sorry. I couldn’t help myself.
Hopefully he can expose Brad Ellsworth phony run as a conservative Democrat. The bloody 8th will once again be a hard fought bellwether district.
That's my standard.
Prove me right or wrong once elected.
