“My comment pertains to the average young liberal in Seattle now, who could care less about your old war heros or what they sacrificed for them.”
Care less? That’s not true. They absolutely despise old war heroes.
Did you hear that pseudo “conservative” woman on Kirby’s show the other day... How these “children” just didn’t have enough life experience to defend themselves against the recruiters “targeting” them... disgusting...
Bite me Seattle
I didn't, thankfully. Seattle can be so disgusting sometimes. (Sometimes?)
Wow - Tell us how you really feel.
Hmmm...this comes as quite a shock to us Washington FReepers.
Duh, I thought I just did?? :-)
A tad harsh, don’t you think? By the way, when you said you’d returned home, where exactly is that?
If you're talking about video games, they already have America's Army. But you're right, they could improve on that by holding competitions. It would also be cool if they came out with a console version for at least the Wii and XBox 360 (highest market penetration amongst the younger).
OTOH, the console one probably brings up regulatory problems. They have to pay a lot in licensing, etc., and have physical media shipped. It would probably cost too much if the Army doesn't charge, and I don't know whether it'd be legal for them to charge.
This should have been done anyway after the 'Rats stole the '04 Governor's race, but since the national 'Pub party had a hand in sinking Rossi, as well as undercutting his court case, it was a hard one to press.
Nope. When it comes to those Marxist’s out there, there is no too harsh for them. I am retired military and offer no apologies for my service to any marxist’s. But, those pigs there really hate the military. They love the terrorists more.
We moved from the People’s Homosexual Socialist’s Marxist’s Republic of WA state, back to my home state of Alabama.
On behalf of the people of Washington state, thank you for leaving.
I was MY PLEASURE TO LEAVE THE STINKING CESS POOL. 14 years there was enough behind enemy lines. You there, enjoy your socialism pal.
Wow, I missed this article and I’m in Seattle! It is all for the best anyways. The majority of Seattle high school students wouldn’t be able to pass the minimum ASVAB requirements to be able to even clean the bilge on a ship. Once Seattle schools are able to overcome the monumental task of getting 50% of their students to pass the watered down state math and science tests I might pay more attention to the potential of these students.
Wasn’t this nice of the Seattle School District to do on the eve of Seafair and Fleet Week (with the Blue Angels)?
