Throughout the War on Terror, Free Republic has stood with Protest Warriors and the Gathering of Eagles veterans to defend the honor of our troops from demonstrations by socialist, communist and anarchist organizations determined to endanger our population and promote the One-world, Soros-funded fantasies The O'Reilly Factor claims to abhor.
Free Republic volunteers have stood at the gates of Walter Reed Army Medical Center every Friday night in all weather for the past 119 weeks to keep CodePink, Fred Phelps and other anti-war agitators away from the wounded and their families.
Before you scold others for suborning hatred, look to your own promotion of CodePink leader Medea Benjamin. CodePink provided $600,000 to "the other side" in Fallujah — a major bomb-making center — just as our troops were entering Fallujah to clean out insurgents.
Benjamin's donations to the city of our worst enemies presumably put dozens of our troops into their graves or into Walter Reed hospital, where her operatives stand outside to protest war policy every week. Why does The O'Reilly Factor legitimize the morally indefensible by giving Benjamin a single second of airtime?
You have done Free Republic and our troops a grave disservice, sir.
