Jveritas, this is a very interesting post. Job well done. Thanks for giving us the heads up.

Folks, if this is true (and I have no reason not to believe jveritas), things are becoming ever more positive.

Yes it is 100% true, and I was so happy to hear this Iraqi supporter of Al Qaeda supporter declaring in his very distressed voice that Jihad is lost in Iraq because the vast majority of Iraqis including the Sunnis do not want Jihad and Islamic state :)

jv, do you like me believe this will happen faster than most are predicting?? My feeling is this is becoming an avalanche for the Iraqi people. Freedom is a powerful weapon.

Yes Bray the success of the surge is happening at a faster rate than what many predicted. I have been saying that by the first few months of 2008 the whole world will realize that America won the war and that Al Qaeda, Iran, Syria and all the other terrorists involved in Iraq have been utterly defeated.

Yes he was speaking the truth in this regard :) This guy is a terrorist sympathizer and he lives in Iraq, I knew it from his Arabic accent, he speaks the Iraqi dialect. If not true he would not have said it.

Do you have any feeling what this means for Iran?? With two democracies surrounding them, are you hearing from the Iranian people??

Ah, wouldn’t it be lovely to shove a recording of this in Harry “We can’t win in Iraq” Reid’s face, with news cameras handy to catch the expression on his face? Thanks, Jveritas. Glad you caught that.

The Iranian terrorist regime is scared to death of a stable Iraq and a stable Afghanistan. In my opinion the mullah islamic terrorist regime in Tehran will fall within a year or two after the completion of our victory in Iraq, and the Syrian terrorist regime will have the same fate.

We do have reason to celebrate the great success gaining momentum, from the military view. But there is always that little problem with the Shia lead government. I am at the point, really have been for about half year, that, Maliki along with his inept Shia Dawa party cronies are not doing anywhere as much as is required.
They have shown themselves not capable of running this country with all it's diverse problems.
And they fear very much any Sunni involvment in key decision making. In short, they do not want the Sunni to attempt some kind of gradual takeover.
Somehow, Maliki must get forced out of office, and someone like Allawi installed by public demand.
As it now stands, to many Sunni are still being driven out of the country, very little is being done to inact legislation that would benefit all Iraq, such as a energy resource bill that would equally share the countries wealth.
But perhaps in the days to come we shall see the Maliki government forced to better address the issues and somehow bring in all Iraqi into the fold, at least those that are willing to see change and or secular enough in nature and not to tribal to see the opportunities a centralized government could provide.
The alternatives are rather un-acceptable.
