Please help me with this; if you believe in Christ and the holy spirit, why do you need silk under-garments to protect you?

I am not being a bigot as some MittBotts claim. It is a legitimate question.

As I started this thread, answer the question.

I was at one time a Mason. So was Smith. Understand Free Masonary and you understand many principles of LDS. I lived with Mormans for 21 yrs. Great people of the community,family values, great citizens of our country.

Why the MittBots get scunched up is beyond me. Sorta like CAIR.

Be open and disclose. It is a fair question.

They are a reminder of the covenants we made with Christ in the temple. They are a spiritual protection for us. They also remind us to dress modestly. "...it also strengthens the wearer to resist temptation, fend off evil influences, and stand firmly for the right."
