In 6 months when this comes up again, maybe he can threaten the DIMs with eliminating desserts in the congressional cafeteria.

Looks like Murtha already needs to push his fat butt away from the pie plate.

Wow. The Democrats did the right thing. Maybe they actually do have an instinct for self-preservation.

Let me see.

186 Republicans and 41 Democrats voted for this while 181 Democrats and 2 Republicans voted against it but "the democrats did the right thing".

Yeah! I get it! NOT!

Hey genius, the Democrats could have stopped the bill cold by refusing to bring it up for a vote. Aside from that, there are other things they could have done to kill the bill, but they didn’t.

True, the cost of blocking it was too high for them though - stay in DC in Aug.

Lol

After a lingering illness spanning over the past half-century the United States Constitution quietly passed away on Sunday, August fifth of 2007.

It was surrounded by would-be tyrants, its friends and defenders having passed long before it.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I don’t like this.

Remember, all the power in the Patriot Act’s and such, will soon be in the hands of a Dem.

Naw, they're just trying to P-O Cindy Sheehan and the KOS people, by showing them who's the boss.
