HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don’t have that in place. IT WILL BE A LITTLE BIT BETTER NOW WITH THE DEMOCRATS NOW IN CHARGE OF OVERSIGHT. But you know, for top level policy there’s not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn’t going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.

I don’t even really get what Ron Paul is all about. Don’t get me wrong his positions much like Pat Buchanan’s might have been the best strategy in 1850,but how do you put the world completely on hold in 2007? If we didn’t learn anything else on 9\11 I sincerely hope we learned the reality that the world today is a very SMALL place !!!

If you don’t believe there aren’t copious amounts of relevant information on 9/11 that haven’t been made public, then you are just regurgitating the company line lead by fools like Gorelick and Gov Kean.
And are you attacking the belief in the “faithful opposition” of a republican style of government? No, probably you aren’t, you’re just taking pot shots for the love of the fight.

If you believe the 9/11 Commission wasn’t used to shield information, than YOU are in the minority (or very slim majority) on FR. Period.
FR had been hounding Gorelick for over 9 years now, and her work on the commission was the culmination of a decade of her ideologically driven policy making and advocacy.
When the 9/11 Commission report was leaked, FR went ballistic with the garbage in the report. Don’t try to deny the grassroots position held by at least a large plurality, if not majority, of posters on this website.
Ron Paul has made 2 things clear: (1) He does not accept the 9/11 Commission report and (2) he does not believe 9/11 was concocted by our own government. There is a lot of room to ask questions about 9/11 and to question the veracity of the 9/11 Commission Report.
I sure am glad Free Republic isn't a blog.

You are putting words in my mouth. You are assuming Ron Paul should toe the party line 100% of the time, in all public appearances, no doubt a standard you don’t apply to your preferred candidate of choice.
I’m not even a serious Paul supporter, outside of enjoying watching him play the zinger at the debates, I think he plays a part in our government that should be filled.
What I believe is that George W. Bush and his administration are extremely dangerous for the life and health of our Consitutional Republic. I’m glad Dr. Paul isn’t drinking the neo-con fruit punch, and he is willing to stand his ground, make his points, and bear the brunt of ridiculous statements from neo-con shills who can only attack him by calling him names.
