Well here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for. Gators, Vols, Dawgs (of the UGA and Mississippi State variety), Cocks, Rebels, Bayou Bengals, Wildcats, Razorbacks, Crimson Tide, Razorbacks, and War Eagles, this is your time.
Later this week, I may do an official Mid-Major Preview Post if there's enough interest in doing so, but for now...SEC fans. Have at it!

I once worked on a job in an office with 5 Alabama grads and 4 Auburn grads. That was entertaining as hell.

SEC #1?
Oh football; I thought you were talking SAT scores.
When the SEC starts putting out Nobel prize winners, I would consider attending one of their schools. Schools are about education.
But the SEC isn’t about education is it?

What besides maybe termination kept them from daily altercations?

Go to this site and see the rankings. Click on 'academics'.
http://www.collegeprowler.com/find/by-ranking.aspx
You will see that University of Florida, along with other SEC colleges rank the same as Ohio State, Penn State, etc.

Perhaps you should consider that the University of Florida is one of the top ranked state universities in the country. You can read about it in Princeton Review and US News and World Reports. Last year Alabama enrolled more National Merit Scholars than Harvard. Being the top football, and arguably basketball, conference is an added perk.

Well the boss was a Vols fan so he also enjoyed throwing grenades and watching the two camps going at one another.
To: mainepatsfan
Well, one side was entertaining and the other side was boorish.
For the record, did you get much work done in November and early December?

As much as I despise the Gators, I have to agree that it is an EXCELLENT school for an education (in just about any field).

At Georgia Tech we always could figure out the SEC school grads.....look at their rings while they pick their noses!! The SEC is gonna be tough this year and I agree with the forecasters saying a loss in this conference shouldn’t take any of them out of contention. The ACC won’t be near as hard IMO.

It is often said that to get a college degree from Georgia all you had to do was drive through Athens.
Well, that is not quite true.
You were required to stop at all stop signs and red traffic lights.

"But the SEC isnt about education is it?" Actually, it is. Those who go for an education get a good one. Those who go for the football get that, and flunk out.

I don’t consider Ohio State or Penn State “Premier Schools” either.
