I graduated from an SEC school. Among my classmates was the first Black USAF Thunderbird, the first woman 3-star general in USAF history, and a double-butt-load of some great engineers.

Oh, and the first Heisman trophy winner to actually play for a school where John Heisman coached.

So? Your original remark was rather insulting to the many A++ graduates who rank among the most intelligent and prosperous people in our society. So what if there are higher ranked schools in the country.

Many student get accepted in those schools but would rather attend UF, enjoy the spirit of Gator Nation, not endure the crappy weather or the liberal nut cases that attend most of your posted top ten. (MIT & GIT the exceptions, provided the students at MIT don’t go off campus)

As I said, a little early for this BS.

Fullmer is IMHO the MOST overrated coach in the country. With the talent he's brought in the last 6-7 years, he should have done far better than he has. Urban has a real test this season. Great recruiting class..but they lost a ton of talent last season..and the frosh may need a year to jell...the guy can flat out coach..and as Tebow goes, well..it's gonna be a fun year to watch.

Have you read “Bloodfeud”...by Ivan Meisel..a story of the Auburn-Alabama game..there was another excellent book a few years back..”Ironbowl” I think it was called. The best move ever was when they took the game out of Birmingham and alternated campuses..
