Sound reason? Hardly. In what we like to call “reality” around here, it is well known that a terrorist is not always connected in a tangible way to known groups or organizations. A terrorist can commit an act of terrorism on his own, and the people are just as dead as if he’d had a direct line to Osama himself.

Thus, it makes no difference if there was a “known” connection. They were going to blow people up, with or without connections. That’s terrorism.

You are so right. Some folks seem to think it is necessary for a terrorist to have a signed mission statement in his pocket to prove association. It’s what’s in his head, and that is caused by what is put into his head and that is mostly input from those “holy men” who espouse killing non moslems.
