A Muslim school is opening in Brooklyn next month and guess who's paying for it. Well, that didn't take you very long, did it? You're right. The taxpayers. The very people whom so many radical Muslims want to kill are going to pay for a nice little Muslim school in New York. Try that with a Christian school and see how far you get.
Wait! There's more! It seems that the principal (taxpayer paid, or course) of the Khalil Gibran International Academy, Dhabah "Debbie" Almontaser, is under more heat ... as if she wasn't already.
A group called Arab Women Active in Art and Media has created a T-shirt that says "Intifada NYC." Where have you heard that word before? Well, it seems that Intifada (for all you government educated) is the name most often associated with the violent Palestinian uprising against Israel. We're also learning that the founders of this group with their fancy t-shirts are are also active in a more militant pro-Palestinian group, which knowingly supports Hezbollah and Hamas.
The Arab Women Active in Art and Media share an office in Brooklyn with the Saba Association of American Yemenis, headed by Almontaser. Her response to the T-shirt inspiring war in New York City, "I think it's pretty much an opportunity for girls to express that they are part of New York City society . . . and shaking off oppression."
"Shaking off oppression"?? Is that what she is going to teach in her taxpayer funded madrassa? Why, my friends, do taxpayers have to be forced – at the point of a gun, I might add – to finance this nonsense? Haven't we gone just a bit far with this politically correct crap by now?

Ummm, Michelle Malkin, on that radical “O’Reilly Factor” show, had a pretty scathing article about this last night. The “Intifada NYC” shirts, apparently, have been abandoned under pressure.
This was just before the EQUALLY incredible interview she had with the NAALCP head in Atlanta that was agreeing with the Southern Christian Lunatic Conference that Michael Vick was basically a good African-American who was being “lynched” (his words!!!!!!) by the American public and the press.
Maybe BOR should step aside and let MM take over for him on the show more often. Better stories, and she’s a heckuva lot better looking than BOR!

I saw that segment too. Incredible, according to the activist woman fighting this, this isn’t a charter school. It’s a regular public school. It opens in three weeks and she can’t get ANY information about the teachers, curriculum, anything.

A local charter school program here, where students take classes independantly, was just threatened by an ACLU lawyer because they used a biology textbook that mentioned God. It was not a creationist textbook, and they didn't even use that chapter. But the lawyer knew, " that all you sneaky christians would read that chapter at home and must be stopped. " He got the money cut off, and the book banned, and shutdown a nice program that a lot of parents and kids used .
Somehow, I don't expect to see the ACLU protest this. It's really true that they only hate Christianity.

I sure the main objective of this school is to brain wash the students who have strayed too far into the American way and put then back on the Islamic path. It would be interesting to sit in on some history classes, and see how well they follow state laws concerning prayer and religion.
