Discussion on August 9, 2007 at Society for Ethical Culture: What's do bad about abortion?

On Thursday, Augaust 9th, at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street at Central park West, there will be a totally pro abortion panel to discuss "What's so bad about abortion?"

Obviously, if they have to ask the question, they don't know the answer. On the panel at the Society for (un)Ethical Cilture, will be Vicki Saporta, mayor pro abort and President and CEO of the National Abortion Federation, Donna Crane, Director of Government Relations, NARAL, Kirsten Moore, President and CEO, Reproductive Health Technologies Project. They will ask: Why is abortion such an important issue in electoral politics in the US compared to Europe? (maybe because in this country we actually fear G-d); why do women need the right to abortion? (they don't), should we seek a middle ground? (they won't - they are extremists who hate women and children). Please try to attend and ask some tough questions.

They threw away ethics a long long time ago. Now it is a dirty word to them. Never let it be said they use dirty language. I hope someone brings one of THEIR aborted babies to the meetin'. They could pass it up and down the aisles and all could see that is isn't a baby -- anymore. Can't help wondering how many have ever seen even a picture of an aborted baby.

Thank You Lord that You take all those precious babies into heaven to live with You forever.

Is it worth it to show up at events like this (the blood pressure goes up) or is it better to ignore them? I have friends who are pro life but don’t want to go because they feel they will become too upset but I think it is important to have a presence and show them that there are people who don’t agree with them and will challenge them on it.
