A Peruvian national in the U.S. illegally and who was previously charged with raping raping a five-year-old girl pleaded not guilty Friday in the execution-style slayings of three young college students... Fox News has learned that Carranza [aka Jose la Chira],who has a fake Social Security number, had been arrested on charges of raping a five-year-old girl and then threatening the child and her parents. In that case he faced a 31-count indictment. In another, he was arrested on assault charges stemming from a bar fight. Immigration officials apparently were aware of Carranza's illegal status since his prior arrests, according to Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura.

The most mind-boggling statement in the article: "IMMIGRATION OFFICIALS WERE APPARENTLY AWARE OF CARRANZA'S ILLEGAL STATUS SINCE HIS PRIOR ARRESTS..." Three innocent people are dead and another critically wounded. Isn't it time that we also hold those culpable who had full knowledge of the criminal monster who was at large, who was here illegally, had a criminal record, and was a guaranteed recidivist? At what point do we start holding those accountable who are complicit because of their negligence accountable? And I wonder if the citizens of Newark will rethink the sanctuary status of their city?

Carranza is one of those hard-working and honest illegals we have been hearing so much about recently. Rapes a 5 year old and is set free to do this? If he had served his time and been sent back to where he belongs 3 kids would be alive today and a fourth uninjured. I don’t know what to say, I weep for America or at least what used to be, America.

Screw the trial. He isn’t a citizen. Take him out back and put a bullet between the POS’s eyes.

Before you get too excited,Carranza had been charged and released on bail on the two prior cases. It has been policy for decades, when an alien is charged,INS waits to see outcome of trial. When alien is sentenced, an immigration detainer is lodged, so that-once the alien becomes eligible for release or parole-he is released to custody of INS for deportation.

So where does in illegal immigrant get tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars in bail money? I have never been, how does one say, processed in the criminal justice system but I imagine if I were arrested for some serious crime, it would be very hard for me to get the bail money unless I were wealthy or had wealthy friends. Which brings me to the question — are wealthy benefactors paying the bail money for violent criminals when the criminals are of some politically correct category (illegal aliens)? If we could follow this money, it would lead to very interesting places, I am sure.

Illegals are killing us off one by one. And not just by direct murder. GET THEM OUT OF MY COUNTRY NOW! Or, damn it, we’ll take care of the problem ourselves.

I would imagine they’d use a bail bond agency ,like most folks in that situation do.

Carranza MIGHT have ties to the dope business, which would give him a certain amount of “liquidity”. The (Maoist) “Shining Path” guerrillas are still a big thing in Peru - where this specimen hails from.

The scenario, incidentally, suggests the victims could have been lured to the location by the possibility of “scoring” some sort of “recreational drug”.

This guy has used several names and had at least one phony social security number. Some press reports have described him as Peruvian, in others he’s Ecuadoran. Given the propensity of illegals to use multiple phony identities, it’s difficult to know.
LEST WE FORGET:In the Bush/McCain/Graham/Kennedy and virtually all the Democrats’ first failed amnesty bill, the USG would have had ONLY 24 hours to verify the police records of amnesty applicants. If derogatory info were not discovered in this short period, the USG would have been OBLIGED to issue the non revocable Z visas that were defacto amnesty certificates. We dodged a bullet.

Is the piece of crap who killed the 3 black kids? What an angry POS! This country welcomed him and he thanked it by killing 3 innocent people.
Our lax immigration enforcement is criminally responsible for this!

I certainly hope that they let this monster remain in this country until he is dead, strapped to a table with poison going into his veins.

Not in New Jersey. There is no death penalty there. So us taxpayers will have the pleasure of paying for this POS to live in prison for the rest of his stinking life. Of course, he pleaded not guilty, which makes me wonder if he really thinks he can be acquitted, or if the stupid prosecutors in Newark will let him plead guilty to manslaughter.

IMMIGRATION OFFICIALS WERE APPARENTLY AWARE OF CARRANZA'S ILLEGAL STATUS SINCE HIS PRIOR ARRESTS..

Instead of sitting in jail while awaiting trial this scum sucking piece of sh*t should be put up in a 'guest bedroom' at Chertoff's house!

I'd bet he'd change his 'they all can't be deported' mantra pdq.

Right - the question I’m raising is at what point do we hold these people responsible and accountable? He shouldn’t have been here in the first place and in addition they knew he was a felon. Then he proceeded to commit a triple homicide.
I don’t know if anything can be done legally but in terms of moral turpitude these people are as responsible for the heinous crimes as the illegal. But for their incompetence there would have been no such crimes committed. In other words, NONE of this should ever even have happened.
