San Francisco city officials are trying to force taxpayers to pay for immigrants' green cards and citizenship – and to bolster their case for the new tax, they've introduced a resolution condemning national radio talk-show host Michael Savage for what they call his "defamatory language ... against immigrants."

Savage is smart enough to throw a rock. This will be hilarious. When Shehan takes one-third of Pelousy’s vote Savage should get in the race. It would be pure justice if he got that seat.
Savage has first ammendment rights. How can he be condemned?

No Republican has gotten more than 12% of the vote in this district since 1994, when Pelosi’s opponent got 18%. This seat hasn’t gone Republican since 1948, and there was a far different, and far better, class of people living there then.

For some reason Michael disappeared from the LA airwaves around 7 PM late last June I believe. Does anyone else off-hand know when and which station he is on down here? I will also check his site.
I miss Michael! I am always amazed that he stays in San Francisco, but like him even more that he doesn't let the crazies and their whacked out policies chase him out of town. Clearly he has quite a following there by those comments. Truth Squad!! :-)
If you can believe it, the SF Bay used to be a heavily Republican bastion, but we gradually lost it over time (Pelosi’s seat in 1948, the then-other SF seat in the early ‘70s, the Oakland/Berkeley seat in 1958 and the erosion spread outwards to the rest of the Bay and San Jose, too). The Pelosi district is one of the single most radical in the nation, and also has the least number of families with children (you can almost always determine what district will elect of a certain party based on that alone — the more 2-parent families with children, the more likely they’ll send a GOP member).
I’ll actually make the argument that a Sheehan candidacy will be bad for Conservatives and the GOP, want to know why ? Because Sheehan running will make Pelosi look like a moderate, and if I didn’t know better, Sheehan (being the whore that she is) is being paid off to do this little dog and pony show for that express purpose. Make Pelosi and the party look moderate and sensible against a well-known unpopular pathetic cretin, and it will benefit them at the ballot box (we need Pelosi to look like the moonbat, not Sheehan). Pelosi gets over 80% of the vote, the Republican 10% and a Green Stalinist gets the other 10%. She could afford to bleed off 35% of the vote, and she’d still win. When she retires, the big question will be whether a Dem wins the seat, or a Green does. A Green nearly won the Mayor’s office against the current incumbent last time.

picked a bad fight. Nationally their stance on illegal
immigration will put them into the fire.

Savage says liberalism is a mental disorder and that’s being

Seems like Savage has grounds for a lawsuit to me, although I don’t know much about law. They are making him a target for an attack by La Raza thugs or other gangs. Freaking idiots.

Any administration worth it’s salt would the Attorney General and his assitants on these cities like white on rice. Instead we LA, Frisco and other cities across this nation setting federal police on immigration.
Bush, you better get off your duff before the nation you swore an oath to protect is ripped apart.
