Military doesn’t want/need elderly new enlisted folks...they would be too hard to break down and follow as the younger guys are...

Maybe that’s why he was minimized to his position as “War Czar.”
Read back...I said if it ever hit the fan in a big way, I am talking multiple war fronts, multiple attacks, etc... Yes they would take anyone that could walk, drive, or shoot a weapon.

But being drafted isn’t a death sentence.
It could well be an economic one for older people that have economic obligations.
